Bubble tea, tea houses, Asian bakeries and dessert shops in this group are usually walk-in, counter-order businesses with a menu board overhead listing sweetness and ice levels you can adjust when ordering. Standard bubble tea customization includes sugar level (0-100%), ice level, and a choice of toppings like boba pearls, pudding or jelly, usually at a small extra charge. Asian bakeries sell items individually with tongs and a tray, cafeteria-style, rather than pre-boxed, and pastries are typically less sweet than Western bakery items. Lines build up quickly after school and in the evening, especially near colleges. Most of these businesses accept cards and mobile pay and skew younger in clientele and atmosphere.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 9 amβ6 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. This is a hidden gem flowing over with delicious foods and treats and a nice assortment of groceries that you canβt get at the grocery store. The falafel is amazing and the pita exceptional. Itβs well worth a visit if only to explore.

Hidden gem in Michigan!! Donβt sleep on Holy Land Bakery (and cafe!) We wanted something quick and fresh to eat on our drive up north. We stopped at Holy Land for a falafel sandwich and ended up leaving with one of everything in the store. First of all the hospitality was unparalleled. The family running the business were so welcoming and even gave us taste specialty treats. They are joyful and generous and make INCREDIBLE food. The falafel is everything you want from a falafel. Crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside. Excellent flavor. We got a falafel sandwich which came with delicious cucumber, tomato salad inside along with tahini, pickled and a special spicy sauce. Everything was home made. I will probably never have a falafel sandwich like this again in my life. Now for the sidesβ¦ I have never had Baba Ghanoush like the one we got. Itβs perfectly, lightly smoked with an incredible texture. The flavor is OUT of this world and itβs SO fresh! The hummus, foul, and tabbouli were also outstanding. Great textures and unique, distinct flavors. When we arrived they were making fresh fluffy pita bread and handed us one right out of the ovenβ¦ it was heavenly. Perfect. Eve

Stopped by with my kids today. I have been following them on social media for awhile and wanted to stop in. Bought a few items and everything was wonderful. The ladies there were all wonderful and even offered my kids a small sample. Highly recommend and I will return. My only regret is that I didn't make it here sooner!

Totally nailing their Palestinian roots, this family-run spot is legit! The falafel, whether you grab a sandwich or munch on pieces, is on point. Donβt even get me started on their pastries and the fresh pita straight from their special oven! With sides like Hummus, Tabouleh, and Baba Ghanoj, plus daily fresh meals, itβs all super fresh and tasty. Theyβre also ready to take your special orders. Highly recommend!

This little Gem is such a blessing to this community. The warm friendly environment and staff are very welcoming. Their hot bread and pies are excellent. I often drive by and swing by for the vibe. The ladies are extremely helpful, kind, and courteous. They also do catering and have miscellaneous dry products and frozen foods. Definitely worth a try!
